Vintage Applique Corset - Bodice

The green silk corset with appliqués was made without a front opening busk. Vintage appliqués were sewn onto the silk outer layer before it was attached to the coutil foundation. The top and bottom edges were finished with matching piping cord rather than bound with bias, and the grommets in the back are antique brass to complete the outerwear look.
